Cajun Honey Butter Glazed Salmon

This Cajun Honey Butter Glazed Salmon features perfectly seared salmon fillets drizzled with a sweet and spicy honey butter sauce, making it a delectable dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. While the salmon is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic, honey, and lemon juice to the melted butter and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Once the salmon is seared, gently flip the fillets over. Pour the honey butter mixture over the salmon fillets.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for another 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your fabulous Cajun honey butter glazed salmon!

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference.
  • Serve the salmon with sides like roasted vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
